Cancellation of OBC Status of Vaishyawani Samaj

Vaishyawani Brothers & Sisters,

Dear Sir / Madam,

Hon’ble Bombay High Court vide its order dated 1/10/2010, squashed the circular giving OBC status to

Vaishyawani Samaj.

The Consequence of this order are too serious & major concern for our community. The Hon’ble Court also

states that the option of retaining the facilities availed by the people of our community & also to reinstate the OBC

status to Vaishyawani Community after following due procedure is at the helom of State Govt. of Maharashtra.

Now, we all together need to act fast otherwise we will not only loose those facilities, henceforth, but also it

may seized all the benefits availed by our community e.g. The Admissions, Degrees, Diplomas, Scholarships, etc.

obtained by availing this Reservation facilities by our students, The Elections or Appointments in Govt. Services,

Statutory Offices, Municipal Corporations to Gram Panchayats may stands cancelled & our community people may

forced to vacate the offices on implementation of this order after 12 weeks.

“Vaishyawani Samaj Madhyavarti Sanstha” is the representative organization of 52 Vaishyawani Sansthas of

Maharashtra. It’s a central organization of our community & fighting for the upliftment & cause of Vaishyawani’s

for last 10 years. We are giving our all efforts to retain the facilities availed by our people under OBC category &

also to reinstate the OBC status of our community not only that, but we are also in consultation with eminent lawyers

for filing Appeal in Hon’ble Supreme Court against the Order of Hon’ble Bombay High Court.

We want your commitment & participation in this movement. We must stand united to overcome this situation

& we are confident that with your valuable active support we will definitely regain the OBC status for our community.
